OMST 2.3_2.4 and USASA SVS BX #1 and #2 @ Stratton

OMST parents and athletes,

It’s hard to believe we are getting into February training already and the weather over the next week or so is looking great with moderate temperatures and no rain in the forecast. This weekend, training will be as usual from 8am-12:30pm and it’s looking promising that we may have a halfpipe to ride! For the athletes who are registered and competing in the first set of USASA SVS BX events held at Stratton, event information is as follows:

USASA SVS Boardercross #1 and #2 @ Stratton

Athletes competing should meet coaches at registration and @ 7:45am in the Sun Bowl Base Lodge on Saturday and Sunday. The boardercross course will be held on the Big Ben trail this year which is also within walking distance from the Sun Bowl Base Lodge.Athletes need to make sure they bring their USASA bib both days. For the detailed event schedule and competitor lift ticket information, please refer to the USASA SVS Team App when the schedule comes out later this week. I would also advise on a board tune from the Totem Pole which should include an edge tune and temperature appropriate hot wax to ensure a speedy board over the weekend.

If anyone has any questions on anything, please let me know.
