OMS & Okemo Comp Center Fit Day 2025

Getting the right equipment is one of the most important steps in preparing for the season. Each September, we host our Annual Fit Day—a tradition that gives alpine ski racing and freeskiing athletes the chance to check out, try on, and order new gear. It’s also the perfect opportunity to reconnect with winter friends and get excited for the season ahead!

This year’s OMS & Okemo Comp Center Fit Weekend will feature:

• Shop open houses with coaches available to assist with gear selection
• An introduction to SkillsQuest Fitness Testing (for athletes U14 and under)
• An OMARA-sponsored pizza party to celebrate together

👉 Snowboard athletes are encouraged to join the Fitness Testing and Pizza Party. Dedicated snowboard fitting opportunities will be offered later in the fall.

📌 Schedule of Events — Saturday, September 6

• 9:00 am – 3:00 pm — Gear selection with coaches at Boot Pro, Totem Pole, and Northern Ski Works
• 3:30 – 5:00 pm — Introduction to SkillsQuest Fitness Testing (OMS Fitness Facility, 53 Main Street)
• 5:00 – 6:00 pm — Pizza Party at OMS 🍕 (sponsored by OMARA)

Please RSVP if you plan to attend any or all of the day’s events.

• The RSVP form will collect waivers if your athlete will participate in the Fitness Testing.
• We also need a pizza head count and your planned shop visit times so we can staff accordingly.

❄️ Can’t Make It to Ludlow on September 6?

No problem!

• Shops already have gear in stock, with more arriving daily.
• Private fitting appointments are available—just contact your child’s head coach for sizing guidance, then schedule with a shop.
• Please complete equipment purchases by mid-September to ensure the best selection.
