OMARA supports the local community by providing funding, equipment, and access to Okemo mountain for local schools and residents
Through the generous support of our members and the local community, OMARA was able to provide Scholarship & Award money to our Okemo athletes, pay for coaches’ education, buy and gift to Okemo Mountain a world class airbag to be used by our Okemo athletes, provide significant donations in support of the OMS Silo, buy equipment for the competition center and upgrade the yurt during the 2017-18 season.
In addition, OMARA provides support for local school programs that provide access, equipment, and training to students, many of whom would otherwise not be able to participate. OMARA has provided equipment and financial support to several of the surrounding towns including Ludlow and Cavendish after school ski programs. Read more about our support here
