After an excellent weekend of competitions, progression and some great results, our slopestyle and halfpipe athletes will have a much needed weekend off of competing and with a snowstorm forecasted for tomorrow, the conditions should be superb! We will spend the weekend breaking down into groups and freeriding and exploring more than we have in the past and will get back into the Nor’easter park which should be fun after spending the last two weeks in Blackout.

For the Groms, Betsy will be coaching all Groms who are interested in competing in Saturday’s BX and Grom athletes should plan on meeting her at 7:30am for registration in the upstairs of the Stratton Base Lodge (adjacent to Grizzlies). There will be no Groms training at Okemo on Saturday but there will be Groms training on Sunday back at Okemo.
Betsy will also be hosting morning Friday training at Stratton on 2/7 from 9am-12pm and the training cost is $45/athlete and a check can be dropped off at the Comp Center this weekend to cover training cost. We are looking into training tickets for Friday and this will be an additional $35-$45 and please equip your son/daughter with cash to cover the training ticket if they plan on training Friday.
If you are interested in the Friday training, please email Betsy at:
There are several OMST athletes who have expressed interest in competing in the USASA BX and Eddie Johnson will be coaching this weekend at Stratton. Please plan on meeting Eddie in the upstairs of the Stratton Base Lodge at 7:30am on both days.
