Freestyle Update

Hey Everyone,

Hope everyone is excited to begin our competitive part of the season. This weekend we have two events. The Okemo ‘A’ slopestyle both Saturday and Sunday, and the ‘B’ Mogul Stevek challenge at Stratton on Sunday. We will also be holding regular training both days. Saturday training for ‘B’ Mogul athletes is mandatory if you are competing on Sunday.

1/20 ‘A’ Freeride training Sasha will be on course

1/21 ‘A’ slopestyle at Okemo (training starts at 8:15am on course) Coach Lenny will be on course
Regular training and ‘B’ mogul training for comp, 9-11, 12-2

1/22 ‘B’ Mogul at Stratton (training starts at 8:15am on course, World Cup) Coach Jon will be in Lodge or on course
Regular training at Okemo 9-11, 12-2

Wednesday 11th SL Training 8:30 to 11:30.

Thursday 12th GS Training 8:30 to 11:30.

Friday 13th SL training 8:30 – 11:30 lunch, 12:30 to 3:00 SL

Saturday 14th SL training 8:00 am at Yurt, 10:30 lunch. 11:00 am to 2:30, gates.

Sunday 15th GS training, 10:00 am meet at YURT. 12:00 lunch, training GS till 3:00.

Monday 16th SL training, 8:00 am to 11:00. 12:00 SL gates to 2:30.

Also please check the BLOG daily! Until we have more terrain open, training could change from one day to the next.

Holiday training times will be posted on Monday 12/19.

Sat 12/17 meet at lift 7:30 ski with coaches slalom skis all OMS/Okemo athletes will be off the hill by 10:30, lunch at 11 and dry land workout at comp center at 12:30. Sunday 12/18 GS skis lift at 7:30 ski to noon, conditions permitting. Bring trainers or old skis!!!!

Devo Meeting Place 12/11 – CHANGE

Hello All,

To deal with the uncertainty in whether or not the base quads will run, Devos will meet tomorrow (12/11) at the BOTTOM of the base (A/B) quads at 8:30 am – not the top. We will leave to ski at 8:30 am sharp to make the most of the quieter slopes in the early morning, so please make sure your child is on time. We will ski as originally planned until 11:30 am at which time the children will be dismissed from where ever they happen to be. Please make a meeting spot with your children and remind them to ask their coach for help at the end of their session if they are uncertain of how to get there. Reminder there will be no afternoon session tomorrow – just a long morning – 8:30-11:30 am.

We will meet at the Magic carpet lift at 7:15 each morning, and will ski until Noon, terrain is still limited so bring dryland gear just in case.
