U16/U19 Weekend Training 12/17 – 12/18

Wednesday, December 14th, 2016

HELLO ALL!

Hope everyone has had a good week.  This weekend we will be skiing on GS boards both Saturday and Sunday, meeting at the yurt at 8:30 as usual.  I am unsure of hill space, but it could happen.

We have yet to ski on GS, so miles will be important regardless.  Those few who have talked with myself, Bobby or Chris H., stick to that program for the weekend.

U-16’s ONLY CHECK OUT BELOW!

Ed Macdonald has been kind enough to offer an informal get together at his residence this Saturday from 4-5:30.  I was hopeful opening social two Saturdays ago at Jackson Gore to meet up real quick, but that did not happen.

This is to get those who are new to the 16’s to get to know each other.  Also, stepping up and racing under VARA and not simply the mid Vermont council does pose a few changes.  One of which is you are obligated to sign up your athlete for all races, and they do get a USSA point profile.

Don’t get to caught up on points to much, they just happen while racing.  But if you want to talk about it as a group, respond to Ed and we can meet up as a group!

So in summary,The Macdonalds (Emma) have offered to host an information social at their home this Saturday 12/18 from 4-5:30 p.m.  All U16 Coaches and U16 families, please join us to learn more about our U16 program.   Snacks and beverages will be available.

Please RSVP to Ed Macdonald at [email protected] or 860-335-8201 (cell).
