Freestyle Weekend Recap
Monday, December 20th, 2010I just wanted to say that all the athletes that competed this weekend impressed all the coaches. For a slow start to the season with limited training in the park and moguls everyone did a great job and skied very well.
In the what I learned this summer rail jam, James Maguire placed first in his age group with Sam Pawlak in second. Despite the limited competition in the womens category, Megan Ellmaker put on a strong showing stepping up to the more difficult features and took first place. Curtis Pazdar put on a great show despite placing, learning some new tricks and throwing down an impressive 450 on to the down box.
At the Killington B mogul event Cole Lovejoy and Chris Fox skied very well for having zero mogul training prior to the event. They both stood up both of their competition runs, and were excited to get the first competition under their belt. They are both rookies on the scene and should be proud of their performances.
More updates to come later in the week.
