There is a MANDATORY Parent meeting TONIGHT at 6:00 pm at OMS. (6 – 7 cocktails, 7 – 8:00 pm meeting, then more cocktails:))

There is a very important SL training day tomorrow for the new team at 10:00 am sharp at the YURT. Bring armor!!! Chin guard, shin guards, hand guards.

The coaches feel that this is a hard working group of kids that have well together  all December. Congratulations to all the 2011/12 team and the parents for supporting “The Dream”!

Thursday 22nd: SL Drills and brushes. No armor needed. 9:00 am at A/b. Ski to 2:30.

Friday 23rd: GS free ski / drills.

Monday 26th: GS skis with GS Suit. Start wearing your suit daily. Meet at YURT at 8:00am. lifts are open at 7:30 am. Ski to 2:30.

Tuesday 27th: Bring SL and GS skis to the hill. 8:00 am at YURT.

Wednesday 28th: GS skis. 8:00 am at YURT.

Thursday 29th: Registration at 7:00am in comp center. Meet at YURT at 8:00 am.

Friday 30th: Time Trials. We are starting time trials a bit later this year to allow J3 training SL in am. We will meet at 8:00 am at the YURT. Time trials will begin at 10:00 am.

Saturday 31st: Meet at YURT at 10:00 am! Mandatory Meeting at YURT at 10:00 am!!! SL skis and armor! Training at 11:30 to 2:00, maybe a bit later!

Sunday Jan 1st:  May be a “voluntary” training day for returning Council and a mandatory SL specific training day for all “new” Council Team members.  (Please stay tuned… if we have a bad day of training due to weather, we may use this day as a floater. If ya know what I mean… wink wink!)

Friday 6th: SL training.

Saturday 7th: SL training. We had scheduled our Council Parent Meeting this night but with the OMARA Meeting re-scheduled at 6:00, we had to re-schedule our meeting. We will meet at OMS at 3:00 pm sharp.

Sunday 8th: K-Town!

The OMARA Meeting that was postponed from December 3rd has a new date and location.

We will now be meeting at 6:00 PM at Willie Dunn’s Grille (at the Okemo Valley Golf Club) on January 7, 2012!

We will meet at 9:00 am each day at the A/B quad. Ski through 11:00, break for lunch, then finish up at 2:00 pm. Thursday and Fridays start time may be earlier depending on numbers.

SL skis daily until told about a change.

Sorry for any confusion but the coaches gathered and in anticipation for a busy weekend, we wanted to adjust the schedule a bit…..

Friday the 16th, 9 am lift to 2:30 ish.

Saturday 7:20 am at A/B Quad base. Ski till 10:30, break for lunch and coaches will look at afternoon ski plan. Possibly do dry land after lunch if the mountain is busy and we are not productive. Otherwise we will ski till 2:30 ish.

Sunday… Same as saturday

DEVO Council Parent meeting at Willie Dunns Gold Room at OVGC, 7:00 pm meeting till 8:00 pm. We have not secured a bar tender yet but do not fret….. We will search out all unqualified / qualified bar tender individuals for this moments event.

Friday is our 1st “Friday” training. We will meet (with the “council” Hammer Camper’s!) at 9:00 am at the A/B. Skiing AM and a PM session.

Saturday we will meet at 8:00 am (SHARP) at the YURT. The DEVO Saturday group will meet there as well. Ski till about 11:00 am, break for lunch, the head back out till 2:30 pm. We will ALL EAT LUNCH TOGETHER and on the hill. Probably at the Summit unless Sugar Shack is open.

Sunday is same plan. 8:00 am at YURT, 11:00 am break for lunch, ski till 2:30.

Training Saturday and Sunday 9th and 10th.

Saturday, meet at 2nd floor of Main Base at 7:35 am. Head out to meet DEVO’s at A/B at 8:00 am.

Ski to 10:30 then break for grub! 11:30 to 1 – 2, then done for the day.

Sunday 8:00 am meet at a/b quad. Ski to 10:30 am then back out at 11:30 am to 2ish.

*** SCREENING UPDATES ***

We are still anticipating the B Quad being open tomorrow; giving us access to the Sugar House.

In the event the B Quad is CLOSED – MEET AT THE BASE OF THE SACHEM QUAD

We will not be having any screenings on Saturday 12/10.  We are not planning to have skiing access to the Sugar House that day.

We are planning to have top-to-bottom skiing by Sunday!!!   No promises at this time, so don’t hold us to it.

That said here is the schedule:

ALL DEVO SCREENINGS – Wait for an email from Mariel regarding the regular training schedule.

Any screening scheduled for 12/10 or 12/11 will be held on SUNDAY 12/11 at 9:00 AM at the Sugar House.

ALL HOPEFULS SCREENINGS – NO REGULAR HOPEFULS GROUP THIS WEEK

Last Name begins with:

A-F please meet at the Sugar House at 9:00 AM for your screening.

G-M please meet at the Sugar House at 10:00 AM for your screening.

N-Z please meet at the Sugar House at 11:00 AM for your screening.

Freestyle – Regular Programs – look for Mike’s info on training

Screenings meet at Base of A/B Chairs at 9:00 AM as scheduled.

Snowboard – Regular Programs – look for Luke’s info on training.

Screenings meet at Base of A/B Chairs at 8:00 AM (might be closer to 8:15 AM) as scheduled.

DEVO PG – Look for an email from Mike or Bill about where regular groups will meet.

Meet at the Sugar House at 10:00 AM on Sunday 12/11 for your screenings.

We will have training tomorrow, Sunday at 7:30 am. Meet at that time at the a/b lift area. We will ride the bus together!

The skiing was magnificent today as we stayed out till 11:00 am. (SHHHHHHH!) We will do the same tomorrow and bring the kids in around lunch.  No dryland in pm.
