Council training for 3/15-1/16

Thurs 3/15- SL and GS 9am at the yurt. Please bring both. We will train until 2 unless conditions do not permit.

Fri 3/16- SL and GS 9am at the yurt. Please bring both. We will train until 1 unless conditions do not permit.

2012-2013 Race Ski Demo – Sunday, March 11

For those J1/2/3, Devo, or Council athletes who are training at Okemo on Sunday, March 11, 2012-13 race skis will be available to demo from Nordica, Atomic, and Volkl.

The J1/2/3′s will be able to test skis during their normal morning gate session on Wardance. The Devos will test skis during their normal afternoon gate session on Wardance – any Council team member who is not away at Shoot out may also join the Devos in the afternoon to test.

There will be both a SL and a GS set for both sessions even though all groups are technically training GS. So athletes may wish to bring their SL armor along with them to test SL skis.

J4 J5 Council Training for 2/23-2/26

2/23 Fri-GS train 9am at the yurt. Please bring rock skis or twin tips if we get snow and cannot train gates.

2/24 Sat-GS on Heavans Gate at Solitude. Meet 730 at Solitude base area please. Training will end at 11:30am. Get your skiis to your tuners asap.

weekend for council 2/10-2/11

hello everyone, for the saturday day of freeskiing middlebury here are some items to consider. I know that many have conflicting schedules, please communicate with each other on carpooling. Also OMS has volunteered to have one (or possibly 2) vans go up if needed. IF YOU NEED A VAN RIDE PLEASE SEND ME AN EMAIL BY TOMORROW MIDDAY so that i know what the demand is and i can reserve a van. OMS is not asking for anything in return (gas $), but is providing this service as a benefit to all. Also I know that some are going to spend the night up in midd sat night (which is great) please contact me if you need to get your skis back to your regular shop sat night and i will try to make arraingments.

Otherwise the weekend schedule looks like this.
Fri 2/10- GS fundamentals am. Timed GS on Wardance pm.
Sat 2/11-GS freeki day at Middlebury ending about 1:30 or 2.
Sun 2/12-GS race Midd. Binding checks in the am.

Council training for the weekend is as follows:

1/28-Saturday- meet 830 at the yurt, SG freeski am 1030-1130 lunch,

1130 -2 SG train on wardance.

NOTE: there may be the possiblity of training on Cheif in the am. This could

potentially be an early lift so please check your emails and the blog after 5 today. Thank you, CH
