Snowboarders _Preliminary Results for Nationals
Below are the preliminary results of our riders based on the USASA rankings so far. The official list will not be available until the 15th. This is merely to give you a heads up on your present standing. We need to know who will need accommodations with us and who will be signing up for our coaching. The more of you who participate, the less expensive it is for all.
For those of you who are on the edge of making it, just wait for the second round, which is 48 hours from the initial release. The second round of emails will go out on the 17th and you will have 48 hours to respond to that.
Again, please let us know your intentions as soon as is possible so we can begin making arrangements for the coaches.

I see Group 3: Youth (14-15) Female on the USASA list with invite spaces as follows:
BX 40 spaces (Leah 33rd), SS 30 spaces (Leah 30th), and HP 30 spaces (Leah 27th)
Am I reading it wrong? If invited, Leah is intending on attending and requesting coaching for all events. Pls. advise. Thnx

It’s never quite as straight-forward as National Ranking Number compared to number of slots in the National Competition. There are approx. 32 USASA Regions, each of whom sent *their* first place finisher to the Nationals. Some of those riders will also hold high National Rankings; some of those may be lower in the National Rankings. Once they have RSVPed, the remaining slots are then filled by competitors according to National Rankings. So…Unless a rider has won their region, the best you can do is wait and see.
