Council Update and training 2-12/2-14
Hey Everyone
Council has a busy week ahead and I can not wait to get back and be with the team. Right now I am sitting in Boyne Michigan doing and trade show for Tecnica- Blizzard. I will be back on the hill on Friday and ready to get the kids pumped up for Middlebury. All of the kids skied great last weekend we just had trouble putting two runs together. The team has done very well this year and going into the final races before states we are looking very strong. I am proud of what we have accomplished so far and with a few races left all of the kids have big chances to move up in the MVC rankings. Friday- Lift 8:00 Training GS I am working on getting something other then Wardance to train on but we will see.
Saturday- Meet at 8:30 at the yurt. We are going to free ski until ten working on drills and skiing on terrain that will help us in the race on Sunday. From 10:30-1:00 we will be training on Wardance hoping to get the timing hooked up so we can make it like a race day and push the kids.

7:30 Starr Shelter base lodge open-DOORS WILL BE LOCKED UNTIL 7:30
7:45 Registration-one person from each club will pick up bibs/tickets for all of theirracers-unused bibs/tickets will then be returned with payment of $20 for each bib kept-please makes checks payable to Middlebury Ski Club
RACERS MUST ATTACH TICKETS TO GOOGLES
7:45 Coaches pick up tickets at the ticket window
8:00 Coaches’ meeting in finish area
8:00 Kitchen open for breakfast
8:00 Parent tickets available at ticket window for $36
8:30 Worth Mt. Chair opens–8 minute ride–use of safety bars required!
8:30-9:45 First run inspection by slipping wide-no free skiing in area of the course!
9:55 Forerunners
10:00 First run
12:00-12:45 Second run inspection
12:55 Forerunners
1:00 Second run
DQ’s will be announced and posted on the scoreboard
Awards on the deck approximately 30 minutes after completion of second run
PLEASE NOTE
ALCOHOL IS NOT ALLOWED AT THE SNOW BOWL
NO DOGS ARE ALLOWED ON THE HILL OR IN THE LODGE + ALL DOGS MUST BE LEASHED
IMPROPER CONDUCT ANYWHERE ON SNOW BOWL PROPERTY WILL RESULT IN LOSS OF BIB and /or TICKET!
